Miki is an 9 year old Pomeranian, who has been doing therapy work for over 6 years.  He has been a therapy dog at UMCPP since the opening of the new hospital building. Miki received the AKC Award of Canine Excellence in 2011 for all that he does to help people. Miki has also received his Distinguished Therapy Dog Title from the AKC, meaning he has well over 500 therapy dog visits. Miki has visited with students from middle school through college age, across the United States.
